This confusion is understandable, because finish is influenced as much by your press parameters (temperature, dwell time) and ink choice as it’s by the film itself. For that reason, we encourage our customers to choose the peel type based on their specific production workflow rather than attempting to find a single “best” choice, and we stock both to ensure you’re never restricted.

If you need to process a large batch of multiple designs within the same day, the fast hot-peel process can be more efficient because it doesn’t require you to wait for the garment to cool on a rack.
If your design has a lot of fine detail or you’re striving for a very soft hand-feel on the finished garment, the slower, more careful separation of the cold peel is a worthy investment of your time.
